Penn State Altoona Cheerleading
Penn State Altoona is a short 45-minute trip to Happy Valley where we occasionally practice along side their cheer squad. This is great news for students who need an adjustment phase to college level athletics and/or academics. Many of our students even end up staying here the entire 4 years and graduating from this Altoona Campus. The similarities of our town and State College only start with their populations of 45,000 each.
Being a part of Penn State Altoona Cheerleading means you are in a club sport with leadership roles such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer (2 great points for your future resume). Our goal is to grow as a family and community by enhancing the experience of athletes and spectators during varsity sporting events. If we meet that goal, then we may compete in our own competitions throughout the year.
Please introduce yourself to head coach Tanya Palovich-Scott at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know more about yourself. Becoming a member of this team takes dedication, hard work, and a commitment to be a positive representation of Penn State but it will be well worth it!
